Over 70% of the world's electricity is transformed and controlled through power electronics technology, making it of great significance to enhance the operational reliability of power electronics. This project aims to develop a series of high-reliability key technologies for power electronics from a new perspective of fault prediction and health management. The main research contents include: fault prediction technology for IGBT modules in converters based on 'end characteristics', junction temperature monitoring technology for IGBT power modules, self-test technology for converters, and converter longevity operation technology based on switch frequency reduction. On this basis, further development of practical value instruments such as fault prediction devices and junction temperature measuring devices (including offline detection and online monitoring) for converter IGBT modules will be carried out, and active cooperation with enterprises for engineering application and promotion will be pursued.
