This project belongs to the interdisciplinary field of civil engineering, sensors, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, and is the research and application of intelligent construction in the engineering field. The project focuses on super high-rise buildings and large-span space structures, continuously and systematically developing a universal system for building structure health monitoring and its engineering application. Specialized development of structural health monitoring systems in major construction projects for structural condition monitoring and damage identification and early warning is a new pillar in modern structural engineering research and application. However, due to differences in test items, equipment selection, sensing principles, data protocols, evaluation methods, etc., previous health monitoring systems were developed individually for each construction project, with data not shared, incompatible, and lacking universal applicability. This project relies on sensing technology, information technology, and artificial intelligence technology to have conducted theoretical research, equipment testing, system development, and engineering practice in the interdisciplinary field for over a decade. The project has broken through the problem of the general applicability of key technologies for building structure health monitoring, developed a universal system with independent intellectual property rights and full domestication, which has reduced the overall cost by more than 50% compared to similar systems, forming a scaled-up industry for building structure health monitoring that integrates research and development, manufacturing, installation, and evaluation. The project's achievements have been applied to more than 50 major projects in 22 regions within the country and have also been successfully used in overseas projects. The key innovations of the project are as follows: 1. A universal monitoring system architecture based on the Internet of Things. The system architecture unifies the sensing devices, data protocols, data management, and retrieval methods for each monitoring sub-item, achieving seamless compatibility between sensing devices, data collection, data storage, and publication, and providing multi-terminal access and display query methods. 2. A project monitoring data sharing basic database. Based on the universal monitoring system architecture, The project's achievements have been successfully applied in multiple major engineering projects, with shared and compatible project monitoring data forming a basic database for the health monitoring of super-tall and large-span space structures. 3. A complete set of sensors and data acquisition products covering building structure performance monitoring. The product system has passed the testing and metrological certification by authoritative national and Shanghai municipal metrology testing institutions, and has applied for product patents and software copyrights. The entire series of products has achieved large-scale production, achieving comprehensive system compatibility at the hardware level. 4. An efficient structural health monitoring data management solution. The management solution achieves high-concurrency, low-latency data storage and rapid data retrieval. The building structure health monitoring system data management software is compatible with the entire series of sensors and data acquisition devices, has excellent scalability and universality, completed database deployment, established data sets and indexes. 5. Building Structure Health Monitoring Evaluation and Early Warning Software. Based on massive monitoring data, it performs signal preprocessing, data cleaning, multi-sensor data fusion, and carries out multi-variable modal identification and structural early warning for super high-rise buildings and large-span space structures under earthquake, typhoon, temperature, and long-term environmental effects. It can achieve online and offline condition recognition and damage assessment of structural performance. Innovation achievements: Obtained 1 invention patent, 6 utility model patents, 23 software copyright registrations, co-edited 2 Shanghai local standards, participated in editing 1 industry association standard; published 25 academic papers. Acceptance opinions and level retrieval conclusions indicate that the overall project results have reached the international advanced level, with some reaching the international leading level. Application and benefits: The project results have been adopted by national and Shanghai standards, becoming a common technology in the industry; directly applied to more than 50 national and local major projects. And has been successfully applied in overseas projects. In the past three years, the added value has exceeded 53 million yuan, and the new profit has reached more than 18 million yuan. It has completed the technological application transformation of scale, integration, and industrialization, promoted technological progress, and has significant social, economic, and environmental benefits.
