Medium-low speed maglev adopts short stator magnetic levitation technology, utilizing the attraction between the vehicle-mounted electromagnet and the F-rail to achieve suspension and guidance; it is driven by a linear induction motor. The gap sensor monitors the suspension gap, and active control maintains constant levitation. Medium-low speed maglev technology has the following characteristics: 1) Flexible technical selection, small turning radius, strong climbing ability, suitable for complex terrain conditions, meeting the application requirements of densely built urban areas with limited space, and minimizing demolition; 2) Low noise, suitable for elevated railways, which can significantly reduce construction costs compared to light railways that often have to be built underground due to noise issues; 3) Less mechanical wear, low maintenance cost. It can be used for large city suburban lines, network encryption, and the backbone network of medium-sized urban rail transit, with broad application prospects.
