The powertrain of new energy vehicles features multiple energy sources and multiple power units. The integrated control of this multi-source powertrain belongs to the electric control technology, which is one of the three core technologies of new energy vehicle electronics, motors, and batteries. This project delves deeply into how to integrate design a multi-source powertrain, addressing issues such as energy management, power coordination, and information flow transmission for integrated control, to ensure the vehicle's power performance, fuel economy, driving comfort, and stability. Through the research of this project, an independent core technology system for integrated design of multi-source powertrains and coordinated control of energy flow, power flow, and information flow has been developed and formed. Five types of multi-source powertrains have been independently developed and successfully applied in pure electric, hybrid, and fuel cell sedans and urban buses. The achievements of this project are significant for changing the passive situation where automotive electronic control technology has long been highly dependent on foreign sources. Establishing core competitiveness and enhancing discourse power in the future competition of new energy vehicles is of great significance. The project has achieved the following innovative results: (1) Independently developed and formed a core technology system for integrated design of multi-source power assemblies and coordinated control of energy flow, power flow, and information flow, including systematic methods for feature analysis and configuration design of multi-source power assemblies, energy flow management control strategies based on energy efficiency optimization, dynamic process-oriented power flow control methods for power assemblies, and reliability assurance technologies for power assembly information flow based on distributed network communication. A total of 7 invention patents, 19 utility model patents, and 2 software copyright registrations were obtained; 92 papers were published, with 46 being included in SCI/EI. After novelty verification of the innovative points by a national first-class science and technology novelty consulting unit, this project is novel. (2) The company independently developed a series of novel and superior multi-source power assemblies, including four-wheel distributed drive multi-motor distributed drive assemblies, fuel cell and battery electric hybrid power assemblies, engine and motor mechanical-electric hybrid power assemblies, and dual-power fuel cell urban bus power assemblies. The developed power assemblies have the performance advantages of high energy efficiency, good flexibility, and reliable and stable operation. They have been successfully applied in hybrid urban buses, fuel cell urban buses, fuel cell sedans, and other vehicle enterprises such as Shenzhen Wozhou Long Automobile Co., Ltd., SAIC Group Fuel Cell Vehicle Business Department, SAIC Group Commercial Vehicle Technology Center, SAIC Group Nanjing Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., Shanghai Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd., FAW Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Changan Automobile Group, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., and Brilliance Automobile Co., Ltd. There are a total of 13 models, including fuel cell sightseeing vehicles, hybrid sedans, pure electric sedans, and pure electric sightseeing vehicles. Among them, 11 new energy vehicles have obtained national product announcements and have cumulatively produced 2,676 units. Based on the achievements of this project, the project application unit, Shanghai Fuel Cell Automobile Power System Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Wozhou Long Automobile Co., Ltd., have realized an additional output value of 2.065 billion yuan, an additional profit of 203 million yuan, an additional tax revenue of 26.8822 million yuan, earned foreign exchange of 601,800 US dollars, and cumulatively saved 22.5764 million yuan in funds over the past three years. The achievements have also been extended to companies such as SAIC Group, FAW Group, Changan Automobile, Chery Automobile, and Brilliance Automobile, with a total additional output value of 38.8 million yuan and foreign exchange earnings of 3.13 million US dollars. The new energy vehicles produced using the project's achievements participated in demonstration operations at the 2009 Dalian Davos Forum, the 2010 Shanghai Science and Technology Expo, the 2010-2011 United Nations UNDP Demonstration Operation Project, and the 2011 Shenzhen Universiade, achieving significant social benefits. The project team was honored with the titles of 'Advanced Collective in Science and Technology Expo' and 'Outstanding Team Award for the Implementation of the Eleventh Five-Year National Science and Technology Plan'.
