Under normal circumstances, the preparation of polymer nanovesicles requires the use of organic solvents, which is not environmentally friendly, time-consuming, and not conducive to industrialization. The technological innovation point of this project lies in the direct dissolution of polymers in water to prepare a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer nanovesicle, simplifying the process of vesicle preparation. This method is both environmentally friendly and economical, suitable for large-scale production, and very in line with the requirements of a low-carbon economy. In addition, since the direct use of anticancer drugs such as doxorubicin can have strong toxic side effects on the human body, this project proposes to encapsulate anticancer drugs within polymer nanovesicles, utilizing the EPR effect to accumulate the drug at the tumor site for sustained release, reducing the drug's toxic side effects and enhancing the anti-tumor effect. Compared to non-degradable drug carriers, the nanovesicles developed in this project have significant advantages in improving the anti-tumor effect of drugs. It is of great significance to reduce the toxic side effects of drugs and the safety of nanoparticles themselves.
