Currently, China produces over 40 million tons of sludge annually, which concentrates 30% to 50% of the pollutants in wastewater. Eighty percent of the country's sludge is not disposed of safely, and more than 30% of the pollutants in wastewater return to the environment, causing severe secondary pollution. This project aims to achieve a new breakthrough based on traditional anaerobic digestion technology, targeting the characteristics of Chinese sludge, to solve the bottleneck problem of efficient biomass utilization of sludge in China.
