The Shenzhen Urban Traffic Simulation System is an important component and pilot project of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Shenzhen. The system is based on advanced multi-source real-time data collection, with traffic simulation technology and models at its core, intelligent transportation public information platform as the hub for information exchange and sharing, and oriented towards supporting traffic planning, decision analysis, and traffic information services. It is a cross-platform urban traffic information system that adopts innovative technical methods and the most advanced technological means to solve and prevent urban traffic problems. Focusing on the core objectives of traffic planning, design, comprehensive traffic management, and decision support, as well as adapting to the requirements of the construction and development of the ITS, the system employs advanced information and system integration, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and traffic simulation technologies; it integrates the overall system platform with standardized, mature, and reliable technologies to ensure compatibility, universality, and scalability of data. To meet the requirements of resource sharing and external data exchange, reserve the interface for the Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border transportation public information platform, and provide interconnection and resource sharing services for relevant government systems.
