Introduction to Achievements: Tongji University has made breakthrough progress in the integrated development technology of fuel cell sedan vehicles, electric-electric hybrid drive fuel cell power system technology, vehicle fuel cell engine technology, automotive electric auxiliary system technology research, etc. At the same time, it is also conducting supporting research on hydrogen energy facilities such as hydrogen refueling stations and charging stations, which have also achieved progress. Three generations of fuel cell sedan development platforms have been developed, with multiple technologies on the "Surpass One" fuel cell sedan prototype filling domestic gaps and winning the "2003 Shanghai Industrial Expo Innovation Award"; the "Surpass Two" and "Surpass Three" fuel cell sedans won five A-level excellent results in seven tests at the sixth and seventh "Bijie" International Clean Car Challenge. They are also equipped in the whole vehicle products of Shanghai Volkswagen, SAIC Group, and Chery Automobile. A demonstration operation fleet was formed in 2005. In 2005, the fuel cell sedan was rated as one of China's top ten scientific and technological advances in higher education.
