To achieve the 'high-degree engineering prefabrication and rapid on-site assembly' of steel tubular structural components in prefabricated assembled buildings, it is inevitably necessary to have a corresponding safe, efficient, environmentally friendly, and economical connection method and equipment. This project aims to research and develop a friction-type high-strength bolt single-side connection technology and equipment that can be applied to the field of prefabricated assembled building steel tubular column and beam structural components. Its characteristic is that it can realize single-side installation and single-side tightening functions without the need for additional processing or installing holes. It can complete the connection and installation of structural components without damaging other parts of the steel tube. Therefore, it can overcome problems that existing bolt connections cannot solve both domestically and internationally, while avoiding on-site welding. It has the characteristics of simple and convenient on-site construction and high assembly rate. This technology and equipment can also be further promoted for application in other closed sections or connection parts that can only be installed from one side, such as various pipelines, reinforcement of old steel bridges, etc. Promote industrialized construction. This project has made significant progress in the research and development of unilateral connection technology and equipment for prefabricated steel tubular structures, with its core technology having been granted 5 national invention patents. The research team is composed of relevant technical personnel from the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Civil Engineering. For many years, they have conducted collaborative research on industry-academia-research cooperation with Shanghai Taida Construction Technology Co., Ltd., providing sufficient technical preparation and industrial development platform assurance for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements related to unilateral connection technology and equipment for structural components. Through the implementation of this project, it is expected to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in unilateral connection technology and equipment for structural components, advance the development of industrialized prefabricated construction technology, and have significant economic value and social benefits.
