Project Introduction This technology organically combines deep flue gas cooling technology, flue gas condensation dehumidification and desulfurization technology, and flue gas reheat defogging technology. It scientifically coordinates the optimization layout of various heat exchangers at different levels, while recovering the sensible and latent heat contained in the flue gas in a cascade manner, saving energy and increasing efficiency. It also synergistically removes various pollutants while deep cooling the flue gas and condensing it, ensuring that the total cost of manufacturing and operation is minimized. This technology has relevant technical patents and independent intellectual property rights. Technical Maturity The deep flue gas cooling and flue gas reheat defogging technologies have been supported by the 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' national key project (2011BAK06B04) and the 'Thirteenth Five-Year Plan' national key project (2016YFC0801904). These technologies have been applied in Huaneng, The 392 coal-fired units of 297 power plants including Datang have been exported overseas and won the Second Prize for National Science and Technology Progress in 2017; since 2015, they have started to pre-research flue gas condensation dehumidification and desulfurization, and in 2018, they received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (51876165).
