Project Introduction: Oilfield associated gas is a type of natural gas resource. Due to the generally small amount of oilfield associated gas and its low available pressure energy, it has often been mistakenly considered as worthless natural gas in the past, and was commonly treated by direct combustion, resulting in significant waste and also contributing to greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, the rational and efficient utilization of oilfield associated gas has received increasing attention. It not only has considerable economic benefits but also plays a positive role in environmental protection. The recovery of oilfield associated gas has opened up a new approach to energy conservation in our country's oilfields. This is not only a promising new industry but also creates conditions for achieving China's overall energy conservation goals. Project Introduction: The research technology of this project can improve the crude oil production of oil wells and efficiently recover oilfield associated gas. The most significant characteristic of oilfield associated gas is that its flow and pressure fluctuate greatly with the oil extraction process. The temperature variation range is also relatively wide, and the oil wells are relatively dispersed. To adapt to these characteristics, the technology has the following advantages: 1) For the typical gas volume range of associated gas in oil fields, 1120-3400m3/d, scroll compressors have unique advantages. By using fully enclosed oil-injected scroll compressors in single units or parallel multi-unit configurations, they can operate efficiently and reliably over a wide flow range; 2) The scroll compressor has a simple structure, small size, and basically no wear parts, which can ensure that the unit has high reliability and is easy to skid-mount, to meet the needs of dispersed and long-term unattended oil wells; 3) By recycling associated gas, the oil production of oil wells can be significantly increased, especially for oil wells in the later stages of extraction, with notable effects; 4) This technology and equipment can be promoted for application in fields such as coalbed methane recovery, tank gas recovery, and conventional gas field production enhancement, with significant energy-saving effects and emission reduction significance. Project research objectives: This project is based on a detailed analysis of the two-phase or multi-phase flow and thermodynamic processes in oilfield associated gas recovery systems. It adopts field coupling technologies for the liquefaction and efficient separation of light hydrocarbons in associated gas, forming an efficient compressor and its system design technology that can adapt to a wide range of variable operating conditions. Based on the technical, economic, and environmental benefits evaluation of oilfield associated gas recovery, it develops proprietary intellectual property in the field of oilfield associated gas recovery technology and equipment development. Existing research foundation: With the support of multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and national '863' high-tech research projects, a large amount of basic research and technological development work has been carried out in the field of energy efficient utilization. 1) By completing National Natural Science Foundation projects and national '863' high-tech research projects, a two-phase mixed transport pump for oilfields has been developed, with stable performance; 2) In cooperation with the largest domestic compressor manufacturing enterprise, Shenyang Blower Group, we completed the "863" high-tech research project "Research and Development of High-Pressure Oil-Free Hydrogen Compressors for Hydrogen Stations," developing a hydrogen compressor capable of reaching pressures up to 40MPa. This compressor can also be used for the compression and transportation of other media including natural gas.
