Project Introduction: This technology targets the current pollution status of harmful emissions such as NOx, CO, HC, PM, and SO2 from diesel engines in automobiles and ships. It is developed according to the emission control standards for marine diesel engines established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), namely Annex VI of MARPOL 73/78 Convention 'Regulations for the Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships', and the automotive exhaust emission standards. The technology combines plasma technology with catalytic oxidation to treat diesel engine exhaust gas and has integrated devices, which can be widely applied for the deep purification of exhaust gases from automobiles and ship diesel engines. The technical indicators of this process are: PM removal rate ≥90%; CO removal rate and THC ≥80%, NOx removal rate ≥85%. The characteristic of this technology is: ① It combines plasma technology with catalytic technology, integrating the advantages of both plasma and catalytic oxidation. The plasma field generates high-energy active particles, which promote catalytic reactions. The catalytic reaction can occur at room temperature and pressure, with the catalyst leading the direction of the reaction, making it selective and greatly reducing by-products; (2) Based on critical plasma frequency, current density and intensity, as well as parameters for catalyst preparation, this purification process provides a theoretical foundation. It not only enriches the application results of plasma theory and technology but also develops an efficient plasma-catalytic oxidation combined tail gas purification technology and integrated device. The technology has completed R&D, integrated device design, and small-scale application testing, ready for prototype processing and industrial promotion and application. This technology offers feasibility report compilation, technology transfer, and cooperative development.
