Project Background: Energy shortage and environmental pollution are the primary issues facing humanity in the 21st century. Seeking clean alternative energy is an effective way to solve these problems, especially for automotive fuel substitution. Natural gas has demonstrated significant comprehensive advantages in terms of economy and environment as a substitute for gasoline, and it is currently undergoing rapid development worldwide. The rapidly developing domestic automotive industry, the adjustment of the world energy structure, and the smooth progress of the West-East Gas Pipeline project are all greatly promoting the transition of automotive fuel to natural gas. Natural gas is stored in a high-pressure state of 200 atmospheres in vehicles, so its refueling needs to be carried out at specialized gas stations and requires much more sophisticated equipment than gas pumps. The most core device among these is the natural gas compression unit, which almost accounts for half of the investment in station equipment. This determines the considerable profitability of its production, and thus this industry has rapidly risen in recent years. Compressors for gas stations, also known as CNG compressors, come in three types: mother station compressors, conventional station compressors, and sub-station compressors, depending on the use and source of natural gas. This equipment belongs to an electromechanical integrated set, with a high technical content and production difficulty, as well as a high production profit margin. Several domestic manufacturers have already entered the production of CNG integrated sets, and foreign products are also flooding into the Chinese market. Currently, the gross profit margin of this product's production is still high, and the market demand is also increasing significantly. The conditions for organizing product production are not demanding, and the investment is not large, making it a good entry point with broad market prospects. 成果优势: 本项目始于1995年,获2007年度国家863计划立项, The main innovation and leadership of the products and technologies developed are as follows: ① We hold multiple independent intellectual property patents related to the technology, being among the first in China to engage in research on related technologies and industrial promotion. We have a wealth of research results and experience in industrialization promotion; ② We have extensive practical experience, having developed various specifications of mother stations, conventional stations, and sub-stations for CNG compressors for many domestic enterprises. Many domestically produced CNG compressor products currently on the market have been developed under our supervision or assistance, and some products have been exported to dozens of countries; ③ We have solid foundational research results, authoring the only scientific research monograph in China titled "CNG Compressors and Their Equipment"; ④ Our research level ranks among the international forefront. The product of the 'Large-scale CNG Mother and Child Station Complete Compressed Air Unit R&D and Industrialization' project, developed based on the National 863 Plan, has been industrialized and implemented, serving large natural gas development institutions such as PetroChina and Sinopec. Currently, the widespread application of natural gas vehicles in China is still limited to western regions and cities such as Xi'an, Chengdu, and Urumqi. With the progress of the West-East Gas Pipeline Project and the discovery of oil and gas fields in the East China Sea, most areas in the eastern part of our country will rapidly begin to develop natural gas vehicle technology. The construction of gas stations is a fundamental facility for the development of gas vehicles, so the next 5 to 10 years will be a peak period for demand for gas station equipment products. It is expected that domestic market demand before 2010 will be at least 1,000 sets. Ten years ago, natural gas vehicles and their gas station equipment were mainly introduced from abroad. Over the past five years, related technologies and all equipment have been fully domesticated. Domestic solutions are available for technological research and development, product production, component matching, corresponding engineering design, installation, commissioning, etc., making the market entry timing ripe. CNG compressor units belong to large-scale complete sets of equipment, with order-based single-piece production, typical of the machinery manufacturing industry. Currently, the gross profit margin for product production is about 40%, which is quite considerable in terms of benefits. Cooperation Conditions: The total investment for the project is approximately 20 million yuan, including infrastructure costs of 3 million yuan, equipment costs of 8 million yuan, working capital of 7 million yuan, and other expenses of 2 million yuan. The factory and office area will cover 800 square meters, with 5 technical personnel and 30 workers. The annual production capacity is expected to be 50-80 units, with an annual sales revenue of 0.5-100 million yuan. Cooperation Methods: Technology transfer, technology commissioning (cooperative) development, technology licensing, and technology investment. The cooperating party is required to have a background in industrial production, preferably with experience in mechanical processing and manufacturing, as well as assembly and complete sets of electromechanical products.
