This project belongs to the field of research in traditional Chinese medicine engineering. The main technical innovation content and characteristics: Research on acupuncture techniques is key to improving clinical efficacy, as well as a necessary means to study the effects of acupuncture and inherit acupuncture technique skills. The research results of this project focus on digital technology, solving the key technologies for acupuncture technique research, achieving quantification, standardization, and normalization of acupuncture techniques, and pioneering new fields in experimental research on acupuncture, which is a domestic first. The research technology and products fill the gap in domestic and international acupuncture experimental equipment, greatly promote the technological progress of the industry and the industrialization level of products, achieving good economic and social benefits, and provide a demonstration for research and industrialization in this field. The achievement has complete independent intellectual property rights and is at a leading level domestically. 1. Invented acupuncture technique acquisition sensors and acupuncture technique simulators, Provided key components for the innovative development of acupuncture technique measurement instruments and simulation systems, providing technical means for the research on quantification, standardization, and normalization of acupuncture techniques. 2. Established the first acupuncture technique quantification research system. Through the embedded technology-based information collection and processing methods of acupuncture techniques, as well as the development of an acupuncture technique simulator based on ZigBee wireless sensing technology, a research system for extracting characteristic parameters of acupuncture techniques, clustering analysis, and mathematical modeling was constructed, revealing for the first time the correlation mechanism between its parameters and the effects of acupuncture; explained the laws of cycle and cycle variation, trend line mean, intercept, and error in single and compound acupuncture techniques. 3. Conducted the first study on information storage of techniques, inheritance of technique skills, quantification, and standardization of techniques, establishing a database of characteristic parameters of acupuncture techniques and an integrated evaluation system. Studies have been conducted on the "Behavioral Effects of Simulated Acupuncture Manipulation Pretreatment in Rats with Visceral Traction Pain and Its Mechanism of Action Against Rat Visceral Traction Pain," "Experimental Study on the Quantitative Effect of Acupuncture Manipulation on Acupoint Skin Temperature," and "The Effect of Simulated Acupuncture on Cardiac Endocrine Function in Rats with Different Intensity of Exercise Training," among others, to explore the relationship between quantitative parameters of manipulation and acupuncture effects. 4. The Acupuncture Manipulation Parameter Measurement Instrument and Acupuncture Manipulation Simulation System are domestically pioneering, and have been industrialized through industry-academia-research collaboration. For the first time, research and formulation of technical standards for acupuncture experimental equipment were proposed and carried out, laying the foundation for the development of traditional Chinese medicine experimental equipment and its globalization. Promotion and Application: (1) This project has applied for and obtained 5 national invention patents and 3 software copyrights; published 43 academic papers, including 2 SCI-indexed and 4 EI-indexed papers. The CSCD has included 11 papers, with a total of 229 citations; it has trained 7 doctoral students and 21 master's degree candidates. (2) The achievements of this project have supported the establishment of the key discipline 'Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering' by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the third-level laboratory 'Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering Technology and Application'; it has created the first Master's program in TCM Engineering in China and the first undergraduate major in Biomedical Engineering at traditional Chinese medicine colleges, providing a model for interdisciplinary research on acupuncture. (3) The research results of this project have been recognized by the acupuncture industry, with the detection technology for acupuncture manipulation parameters being included for the first time in three publications: the Ministry of Health's 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' textbook 'Biomechanics', the national 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' textbook 'Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering', and the 'Eleventh Five-Year Plan' national key book 'Acupuncture'. (4) Through the technical research and application of acupuncture teaching experimental instruments, it has participated in 12 domestic and international academic conferences. Among them, 3 international academic conferences and 9 domestic academic conferences were held. (5) The research achievement 'Acupuncture Manipulation Parameter Tester' was a high-tech achievement transformation project in Shanghai, which was transferred to establish the Shangxin Medical High-Tech Co., Ltd. of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005. (6) Since the late 1990s to the present, acupuncture teaching experimental instruments have been used in more than 80 units such as traditional Chinese medicine colleges, scientific research institutes, hospitals, etc., and have received good reviews from user units.
