Organize Annual Project Inspection Work Conference to Promote the Strategic Research of Green Technology Bank

   On January 20, 2019, the GreenTechnology Bank Management Center joined hands with Tongji University toorganize the annual inspection work conference of the project of “Research on GreenTechnology Evaluation Methods and Industrial Policy System”, a key R&Dproject of Ministry of Science and Technology. Ten participating units of sixsub-projects participated in the meeting.

    At the meeting, the undertaking units of the six sub-projects,namely Tongji University, Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center,Sinoipro IP Management and Technology TransferCo., Ltd.,Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Sino-Japan Friendship Center forEnvironmental Protection, and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology,reported the annual progress of the sub-projects. The GreenTechnology Bank Management Center conveyed the relevant requirements for the projectresearch of the Department of Science and Technology forSocial Development, Ministry of Science and Technology to all the units,proposed that each sub-project should strengthen cooperation and exchange,promote the mutual application of research results, and finally form the mechanisms,standards, policy suggestions and other research findings that can contributeto the operation and development of the Green Technology Bank, promoting thedemonstration application of the results.

      Xu Nanping, Vice Minister ofScience and Technology pointed out at the meeting of the Green Technology Bank Construction Leading Group that the Green Technology Bank should strengthen thestrategic research and support green technology innovation and development. Theresearch on green technology evaluation methods and industrial policy system isa strategic research project laid out by the Ministry of Science and Technologyto support the construction of the Green Technology Bank, covering contentssuch as standard systems, management mechanisms, policy research anddemonstration, air pollution control policies and industrialization and comprehensivedemonstration of green parks.
