The films and new products under this project can be used as paint substitutes for surface decoration and protection of rail vehicles. This new polymer film product has been substantially improved in a number of key performance indicators (including but not limited to fire and flame retardant, antifouling self-cleaning, heat insulation, damping, antibacterial and abrasion resistance, low cost and long service life). The main body of the film can be divided into two types: rolling-grade film and casting-grade film. The rolling-grade film is manufactured by stretching the mixture of solid particle resins, fillers, and other materials to a film with a certain thickness through high temperature extrusion. The casting-grade film is manufactured by scraping sol components (such as resin, plasticizer, solvent, and flame retardant) into a liquid film to form a polymer film in an oven at 200°C. This product is suitable for the construction of high-speed railways and airports, and is conducive to the new product development and large-scale production of films for surface decoration and protection of rail vehicles. In addition, this product can also help to promote the industry development of decorative protective films for high-speed railway vehicles in China. It can meet China's increasing requirements for environmental protection, safety and appearance of rail vehicles.
