This technology uses industrial solid waste (e.g., steelslag, iron slag, fly ash, and calcium carbide slag) to react with carbon dioxideto generate lightweight calcium carbonate and composite mineral powder. By sodoing, it converts industrial solid waste into high value-added industrial rawmaterials, and enables the utilization and sequestration of carbon dioxideduring the production process. At present, the completed project has aprocessing capacity of 500,000 tonnes of steel slag per year and 100,000 tonnesof carbon dioxide per year.
