This Joint Operation Control Technology for Coal-FiredPower Generating Units and Energy Storage uses an independently developedcontrol system as the energy management system (EMS). Through intelligent powerallocation among the energy storage system and the power units as well as jointresponse of the energy storage system and coal-fired units to capacity commands,it ensures compliance with grid directives. This technology is applicable topeak load regulation and frequency modulation (FM) in large-scale coal-firedpower plants.
