Commercial and Industrial Liquid-Cooled EnergyStorage Equipment and Intelligent Energy Management System throughcollaborative efforts in the field of distributed energy storage involvingacademia, industry, and research, this project has developedhigh-energy-density, high-safety, and high-flexibility liquid-cooling energystorage equipment for commercial and industrial use. It also established asmart energy management system that ensures reliable operation and datasecurity. These advancements address issues such as temperature deviations andinconsistent lifetimes in traditional energy storage, excessive energyconsumption in auxiliary systems, low efficiency, and the inability to identifysafety risks in energy storage systems. This has significantly enhanced theoverall performance of energy storage systems on the user side, leading to theproject receiving the 2022 Shanghai Science and Technology Progress FirstPrize. The technological achievements of the project have been applied tovarious scenarios: the Xiangbei Independent Energy Storage Power Station inHubei, where flexible deployment and coordinated optimization control of energystorage clusters have been achieved; industrial and commercial energy storageprojects such as Zhongshan Yongning and BOE Varitronix, where functions such ascoordinated control of energy storage, sources, and loads, microgrid blackstarts, orderly charging, and smart load management have been realized; and thesolar-storage power station in Slovakia, where the station participates inpower market frequency regulation and peak shaving services, generatingmillion-dollar benefits for the customer.
